From the moment I met Suzanne, I could feel her calm, caring energy. She’s one of those people who doesn’t just listen — she truly hears you. I shared a bit about my own health journey, including kidney pain and neuropathy, and she immediately offered her support and guidance to see how reflexology might help. That kind of genuine care is exactly what makes Bliss such a special place.
Suzanne began her reflexology practice in May of 2025, following more than a decade spent in education. When her teaching position came to an end, she decided it was time to give her passion for healing her full attention. With courage and resilience, she stepped into a new chapter, building Sole Spring Reflexology from the ground up.
A Kingston resident for over 26 years, Suzanne is deeply rooted in the community. Both of her children graduated from Kingston High School, where she also dedicated 12 years as a Cross Country and Track & Field coach. Beyond that, she’s spent the last 17 years as a yoga instructor, teaching at The Yard Fitness and The Village Green Community Center. Her dedication to wellness — mind, body, and spirit — runs through everything she does.
Starting a new business wasn’t easy. Suzanne credits much of her success to asking questions, leaning on fellow business owners for guidance, and taking things one step at a time. With a background in sales and marketing, she understood the mechanics of business, but marketing herself — her own skills and healing work — was a new kind of challenge. Educating others about the benefits of reflexology has become a cornerstone of her mission.
Today, Suzanne says one of the things she loves most about her work is the collaboration she’s found with Erica and the team at Bliss. The chance to work alongside others who share a heart for helping people has been incredibly fulfilling. She finds joy in helping clients leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more in tune with themselves.
Of all her accomplishments, Suzanne is most proud of her perseverance — of believing in what she does and knowing that it matters. The journey has taught her that she’s resilient and that it’s okay to ask for help when the road gets tough. She’s also discovered that running a business takes far more effort than most people realize. Networking, community support, and ongoing education have all been vital parts of her growth.
Suzanne’s clients often leave with a newfound sense of balance and relaxation. Her favorite clients, she says, are those who come with an open mind and are eager to learn about the healing power of reflexology. And for those curious about what’s next, Suzanne has big dreams. Over the next five years, she envisions expanding her client base, continuing her education, and broadening the range of services she offers through Sole Spring Reflexology.
Above all, Suzanne’s story is one of faith in herself, belief in her purpose, and love for her community. Her journey reminds us that even in times of change, new beginnings can bring healing — not just for others, but for ourselves.
