I’m Stacey Pimm

I juggle so many hats, as a digital content creator, author of a children’s book series, twin mama, chaos coordinator all the while trying to navigate the teenage era, book girlie, Type one diabetic, going blind, dance in the kitchen while being a baking master, always licking the spoon! hotel hopper, experimenting with what my Nana did during The Great Depression, PNW born and raised, lover of the ocean and rain, and just as much as a palm tree and warm breeze lover. And now your new friend!

That was a lot to describe, but I am hoping something will resonate with you! My goal with writing this blog is to have you come with me as I journey through this next chapter, finding my voice as I listen to yours.

✨ Meet Me Monday! ✨

Happy first week of November, friends!  This month is going to be full of heart, connection, and inspiring stories. Over the next four weeks, we’ll be diving into some exciting things — and of course, as always, a few surprises might pop up along the way.

This month, I’ll be shining an extra bright light on amazing women — more than ever before! We’ll be talking about small businesses and how the little things we do can create a huge impact when we all come together to lift one another up.

I’ll also be sharing parts of my own journey — as a NICU mama and as a Type 1 diabetic myself.  I’ll be diving into all things diabetes this month, including stories close to my heart — like that of an 11-year-old who was recently diagnosed and has been living with Type 1 for just over a year. Diabetes Awareness Month is deeply personal for me, not only because of my own experience but also because of my family’s history — my grandfather’s aunt was the first child to pass away in Kingston, Washington, from Type 1 diabetes back in the late 1800s. Her story reminds me how far we’ve come and why awareness still matters so much today.

We’ll also be highlighting the stories of women who are caretakers and loved ones of those living with Alzheimer’s — and those who are just beginning that journey.

Prostate cancer is something that affects so many men — about 1 in 8 will be diagnosed in their lifetime. It runs in my family, too. My grandpa had it, my uncle had it, and the thought of my dad possibly facing it someday truly scares me.

Over the next month, we’ll be taking a closer look at this important topic and raising awareness. My hope and prayer is that, as research continues, a cure will be found — so that when my boys are grown, they won’t have to worry about it at all.

On a lighter note, I’ll be heading to several local events and into the big city this month to soak up some amazing art, music, and live productions.  I can’t wait to share all the creativity and inspiration they bring!

And before I go — this past weekend, we celebrated my boys’ birthday!  They’re growing up so fast, and truly, they are two of the best humans in the world.

Here’s to a month of gratitude, awareness, creativity, and celebrating the strength and love that connect us all.
