I’m Stacey Pimm

I juggle so many hats, as a digital content creator, author of a children’s book series, twin mama, chaos coordinator all the while trying to navigate the teenage era, book girlie, Type one diabetic, going blind, dance in the kitchen while being a baking master, always licking the spoon! hotel hopper, experimenting with what my Nana did during The Great Depression, PNW born and raised, lover of the ocean and rain, and just as much as a palm tree and warm breeze lover. And now your new friend!

That was a lot to describe, but I am hoping something will resonate with you! My goal with writing this blog is to have you come with me as I journey through this next chapter, finding my voice as I listen to yours.

A Truly Memorable Stay at The Breakers – Long Beach, Washington

A Truly Memorable Stay at The Breakers – Long Beach, Washington

Our recent getaway to The Breakers in Long Beach, Washington, was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled along the scenic Pacific coast, this charming resort offered the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal charm. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the peaceful sounds of the ocean, the fresh salty breeze, and a sense of calm that only a place like Long Beach can offer.

We stayed in a beautifully maintained two-condo unit that exceeded our expectations in both space and amenities. The layout was ideal for our family, with two full bathrooms that made getting ready in the mornings a breeze. The full kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals together—pots, pans, dishes, utensils—you name it. We enjoyed having the option to dine in or take our meals out onto the private balcony, which offered serene views and a quiet place to relax.

The living area was spacious and cozy, complete with a fold-out couch, a welcoming fireplace, and plenty of natural light. Whether we were curled up with a book or watching a movie together in the evening, it felt warm and inviting. The sleeping accommodations were also perfect: a large bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed, a comfortable queen bed, a twin bed, and another fold-out couch in the main living area. Everyone had their own space, and it never felt crowded.

The resort’s amenities were just as impressive. The pool area was one of our favorite spots—it was clean, well-maintained, and inviting. The hot tub offered a soothing soak after long walks on the beach or exploring the nearby trails. For adults looking for a little peace and quiet, the adult-only hot tub area was a thoughtful touch. Families with kids will also appreciate the playground and the volleyball net,  the pool and spa was clean and always pretty empty with some other families enjoying it.  which kept our group entertained for hours. There was truly something for everyone.

One of the biggest highlights was the easy access to the beach. Just a short walk from our condo, we found ourselves on the expansive, sandy shores of Long Beach. We took daily walks along the coastline, hunted for seashells, flew kites, and watched the waves roll in. Sunsets were spectacular—each evening painted the sky in breathtaking shades of pink, orange, and gold. It was pure magic.

The staff at The Breakers were kind and helpful, and the property was quiet, clean, and well-cared-for. We felt completely at ease during our entire stay. It’s the kind of place where you can disconnect from the hustle of daily life and simply enjoy being present—with nature, with your family, and with yourself.

We’re so grateful for our time at The Breakers, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a family vacation, or just need a peaceful place to recharge, this gem on the Washington coast is truly something special.
