I’m Stacey Pimm

I juggle so many hats, as a digital content creator, author of a children’s book series, twin mama, chaos coordinator all the while trying to navigate the teenage era, book girlie, Type one diabetic, going blind, dance in the kitchen while being a baking master, always licking the spoon! hotel hopper, experimenting with what my Nana did during The Great Depression, PNW born and raised, lover of the ocean and rain, and just as much as a palm tree and warm breeze lover. And now your new friend!

That was a lot to describe, but I am hoping something will resonate with you! My goal with writing this blog is to have you come with me as I journey through this next chapter, finding my voice as I listen to yours.

My favorite local business back home  is Salt Water Books in Kingston Washington,  A great bookstore, with amazing selections and unique gifts for everyone. Maddison and Laci are great and right next door is Laci's amazing bakery, called the Borrowed Bakery Their pre made meals are amazing and keep the freezer full and ready for quick homemade meals, and their apple fritter muffin is amazing! Of course the boys love their maple bacon scones!

7) A job that you love and a great co-worker is the most important thing to have in my work environment

8) Life would be boring without my boys. This is their last year in middle school and they turn another year older, slipping away and counting the last first days of school on one hand now.  Makes me sad and happy at the same time, motherhood is nuts.
9) My all-time favourite book is A talk before sleep by Elizabeth Berg. I read it in High school and it put a chokehold on me for life.
10) I can’t live without Insulin, as a type one diabetic.

11)My go-to binge series is The Golden Girls. At the rate mylife is going I am on the right track to live with a few besties and enjoy the golden years!
12) To impress someone on a first date, I’d cook Fried chicken, mash potatoes, and cream corn, and corn bread next week we will be showing the recipe for the Fried Chicken copy cat bowl from KFC, a spin on Nana's recipe of fried chicken!
13) I set two alarms to wake up in the morning, but the boys have their Alarms for school so I guess that is 6 alarms.
14)
I've always been closest to my dad's side of the family. When my grandparents were still around, we spent a lot more time together, but over the years, everyone’s naturally focused more on their own immediate families. I really miss that closeness and would love to bring everyone back together—to reconnect and rebuild those bonds. Lately, I’ve been trying to strengthen those family ties, especially for the younger generation, so our kids can grow up knowing each other. I think my dad really instilled that deep sense of family in me, and it’s something I want to carry forward.
15) The best holiday of the year for me is Halloween  Ever sense I was a little girl, I would plan all year for the best ideas for costumes, the obsession got even bigger when I had the boys.   I really love how close the boys birthday is to Halloween and it has been so fun to in the early years theme their birthday parties to their Halloween costumes.
