I’m Stacey Pimm

I juggle so many hats, as a digital content creator, author of a children’s book series, twin mama, chaos coordinator all the while trying to navigate the teenage era, book girlie, Type one diabetic, going blind, dance in the kitchen while being a baking master, always licking the spoon! hotel hopper, experimenting with what my Nana did during The Great Depression, PNW born and raised, lover of the ocean and rain, and just as much as a palm tree and warm breeze lover. And now your new friend!

That was a lot to describe, but I am hoping something will resonate with you! My goal with writing this blog is to have you come with me as I journey through this next chapter, finding my voice as I listen to yours.

Jazmyn’s Dream: Building a Pilates Studio, a Community, and a Better Future for Bremerton.

When I put out a call asking to hear from women business owners in our community, I had no idea I would be introduced to someone as inspiring as Jazmyn. From the moment I read her story, I was moved by her honesty, her determination, and the love that fuels every part of what she is building. Jazmyn is the founder of a new Pilates studio in Bremerton, and while her business may be young, the heart behind it is years in the making.

Jazmyn officially created her LLC in October 2025, and after months of planning, dreaming, and pushing through countless challenges, she opened the doors to her studio on April 25, 2026. For many people, opening a business is an accomplishment in itself. For Jazmyn, it was even more meaningful because she did it while raising a two-year-old and a three-year-old and supporting her family as a military spouse. Her husband serves in the military, and like so many military families, they have had to build a life in a new community while balancing the uncertainty that comes with service.

When Jazmyn talks about celebrating her successes, her answer is beautifully simple. She takes a moment of silence. No grand gesture, no elaborate reward, just a quiet pause to let herself feel proud. In those still moments, she acknowledges the strength it took to get there. It is a reminder that even in the chaos of motherhood, marriage, and entrepreneurship, she is capable of extraordinary things.

Her reason for starting this business was deeply personal. Jazmyn wanted something different for her family. She spoke candidly about the reality that many mothers face, being expected to return to work too soon after giving birth and leave their tiny babies with strangers. She knew she wanted to create another path, not only for herself but for other parents as well.

Although Jazmyn and her family were only stationed in the area in August 2025, she wasted no time becoming part of the community. Before opening her studio, she worked in real estate, holding licenses in both Virginia and Washington. She also created a working moms group called Her Hustle Hub, bringing women together to support one another. Though the group was short-lived, her desire to connect and uplift women has remained at the center of everything she does.

Starting a business was completely new territory for Jazmyn. She openly shares that she had no idea what she was doing in the beginning. There were countless phone calls, meetings, emails, setbacks, and rejections. There were moments of frustration, breakdowns, and the occasional glass of wine. But she kept going, one day at a time, refusing to let fear stop her from creating the life she envisioned.

What makes Jazmyn’s studio so special is that it was designed with mothers in mind. She is currently the only Pilates studio on this side of the water to offer a kids' corner, a thoughtfully created space where little ones can stay close while their parents focus on themselves for 50 uninterrupted minutes. It may seem like a small addition, but to so many mothers, it is everything. It means they do not have to choose between caring for their children and caring for themselves.

The impact of this simple idea has already been profound. Jazmyn has heard from mothers who have been searching for exactly this kind of space, somewhere they can move their bodies, clear their minds, and feel supported. She is not just offering Pilates classes. She is creating a sanctuary for parents who so often put themselves last.

One of the proudest moments of her journey came on opening day when her very first class was completely full. With her parents there to witness the moment, Jazmyn found herself shedding tears. It was the culmination of months of sacrifice, hard work, and belief in herself.

Looking ahead, Jazmyn has big dreams. She plans to host themed events like movie nights, couples Pilates, Galentine’s celebrations, men’s classes, military appreciation days, and a gala to celebrate her one-year anniversary. In five years, she envisions expanding into a two-story building where the downstairs features a large play area and the upstairs hosts multiple classes at once. Her goal is to make wellness more accessible to busy families while maintaining affordable prices.

At the heart of everything Jazmyn does is her family. She is building this business for her children, hoping it will one day help them buy a home with a big backyard where her boys can run and play. Maybe, she says with a smile, they will even get a puppy.

When asked what she has learned about herself, Jazmyn’s answer is one every woman needs to hear. She has learned that she can do anything. She will never again doubt what she is capable of.

Jazmyn’s story is about more than opening a Pilates studio. It is about motherhood, resilience, and the courage to trust yourself. It is about a woman who saw a need in her community and chose to meet it with compassion and determination. Most of all, it is about building something meaningful, not just for herself, but for every parent who walks through her doors.

Bremerton is incredibly lucky to have Jazmyn. Through her vision, she is creating more than a business. She is creating a community where women feel seen, supported, and empowered. And that is something truly worth celebrating.
